"After the disaster that was a booking under false pretences by the management of the Brisbane Quarter, I was left floundering as the clock approached midnight and I was almost left on the street…or sharing with strangers in a facility free dorm. Luckily shortly before the midnight hour, I was able to locate Capri by Fraser around a 1km walk away. What a wonderful hotel and saviour from a night on the streets. After the check-in process resulting from using the hotels.com APP just a few minutes before and I was handed my key to the palatial room on level 6…with a bottle of champagne so I could drown away the bitter taste of the management at the Brisbane Quarter hotel dorm.."

"The staff was fantastic and let me check in early which was much appreciated as I had just traveled 42 hours from the US and was desparate for a nap. Breakfast tasty and reasonably priced. Room was HUGE and had every amenity you could need. My room was dated but this hotel is currently getting updated. I would happily stay again as is, but once it's updated I'm sure it'll be even more fantastic. "

"Very professional staff, tidy and well presented hotel and grounds and super comfortable bed! Only thing that put a dampener on the stay was the buffet breakfast - all the hot food was stone cold."
