"This is a beautiful hotel and somewhere I felt very safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The amenities were excellent, and the pool was spotless and very well maintained. The room was spacious and comfortable. My only slight disappointment was that the room was advertised as having a balcony, whereas it actually had large windows that opened rather than a true balcony. This would be worth clarifying in the room description. The food was great, and the breakfast was superb, with plenty of choice. The staff were all lovely, friendly and very accommodating, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a really lovely stay and would happily return."

"I have stayed at City Hotel Ljubljana multiple times over the years. The location is 300 - 400 meters from Ljubljana's Old Town where stores and restaurants are located. The staff are professional and always ready to help. The hotel and rooms are always clean. The bathroom is a good size with a large shower. The fitness center (gym) has nice equipment and is good for a basic work out. The daily breakfast buffet is one of the largest around. It has food for both European and North American tastes. There is no shortage of selection for your taste buds. I rate City Hotel as excellent."

"We loved it overall - such a good location from coming off a bus The only issue was the bathrooms - whilst there were lots and well maintained, could have been cleaned more regularly Also, I’d book a bottom/lower room as the metal ladder up to the bed in the top/upper room are uncomfortable on the feet"

Postojna Cave Hotel Jama

"We had a great stay at Hotel Jama. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, but the highlight is the location—it is literally a 3-minute walk to the entrance of Postojna Cave, which made sightseeing effortless. On-site parking was straightforward at €10 per day. We also tried the dinner buffet at the hotel restaurant; while €32 per person is a bit on the pricier side, the quality and variety of the food made it completely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the caves!"
