Beautiful hotel, with superb service (with one exception). The physical beauty of this hotel brings the beauty of the sandstone exteriors to life with interiors which are more than a match. The staff revel in all the material the hotel designers and resident historian and forager have given them to play with. Breakfast and dinner in the Brasserie are superb and the rooms are very large and lush. The hotel is still ramping up and keeping up the personal level of service will be a challenge but...

This is a great location! Next to a park, two blocks from the big Westfield indoor mall (has food court, shops and 3 grocery stores), and the many restaurants of Burwood (mainly Asian). It’s also close to the Burwood train station where you can take the express train into Sydney center. The apartment is very well appointed, full fridge/freezer, washer/dryer as well. Everything is very clean and organized. There’s no daily cleaning, but the staff is very nice and if you need anything refilled...

Perfect location in Sydney for my honeymoon! We received a free room upgrade and once staff learned it was out honeymoon they surprised us with a free bottle of champagne and chilled glasses right at our door. We had a beautiful view on the top floor, and the bathroom was clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

The staff was exceptional!!! They were extremely helpful and friendly. I travel a lot and I would rate the staff at this hotel the best I have ever experienced. My son and I traveled from the USA and were not familiar with the area and the reception staff went way beyond expectations to help us. The breakfast staff(2 sisters) were awesome! They were constantly replacing food and drink items as needed and always available. Wish we had this excellent service in the USA!

I was amazed how meticulous they were cleaning. I saw them cleaning stuff no other hotel does. It is not a new hotel, but the renovations make it seem new. They have done a superb job renovating. The people were extremely friendly.

Liked the room, very clean and even shared bathrooms were in great condition. It was cool to have the casino downstairs, I loved the place and can’t wait to come back to visit

Everything about this hotel was over the top perfect. From the moment you walk into the entry, you're greeted with a wonderful fragrance that makes you feel like you're already home. We were met at the front desk by a gentleman who was more than willing to split the bill 7 ways for each person that was traveling in our group. This was a great location once you worked out the public transportation, from buses to the light rail, you can get anywhere in Sydney. The room is a good size and the heating and A/C is good. The only thing that can be improved on is the bathroom its a little bit small without much storage. If they would install shelving on the mirror it would improve the bathroom a bunch. The staff was excellent and the coffee shop across the street was great. When I get back to Sydney, I'll be staying...

What a beautiful little gem tucked in the heart of Newtown. I only wish I was able to spend more than one night here. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, cooktop, microwave and refrigerator. We walked to several bars and restaurants on our stay. If I find myself in Sydney again, I will def be staying here!

客室は清潔でベッドもセミダブルの大きさが良かったです。キッチン、洗濯機、乾燥機も清潔でとても使いやすかったです。 近くに大きなスーパーもありとても便利です。 浴室は日本人には少し使いにくいです。トイレと浴室は分けてもらえると嬉しいですね。脱衣所も欲しいです。 週末は下のライブハウスがとても賑やかです。好きな人には良いですが静かに眠りたい人には不向きかな。夜中の2時頃まで音がきこえます。 バスもたくさん走っているのでとても便利です。
