Beach Front Cottage on Beautiful Lake Simcoe

Beautiful freshly renovated century cottage on Lake Simcoe at Big Bay Point. Bright and spacious with exposed beams and all new appliances. Enjoy a family vacation with private beach, million dollar view, great swimming, fire pit, deck, screened in porch and canoe. WiFi, TV, BBQ and boardgames all included. There are 3 bedrooms; 2 with queen beds and 1 with bunk beds. The Beach Cottage is also located a 15 minute walk from Friday Harbour Resort with excellent restaurants, Starbucks, LCBO, deli and groceries, etc.

Great family vacation

The cabin is cute and comfortable and the property is perfect for a family. The water is lovely - bring water shoes, it’s a bit rocky getting in. Darcey was very accommodating and responsive.

So peaceful!

Wonderful spot right on the lake. So peaceful! Great place to rest and relax. Short drive to area attractions in Barrie and Innisfil. Darcey was a responsive host and made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable.

A late summer retreat

We spent a week at Beach Cottage while our house was being sold in the city. This cottage was the ideal place to relax, enjoy the lovely beach, watch the sunrises and sunsets, and take in this calm, beautiful location. The cottage was thoughtfully renovated and well equipped. The lake was so clean and fun to swim in. Our dog had a blast as well. A true gem!

Great Cottage

Overall the experience was excellent. The cottage was really well equipped, very nicely decorated, and Darcey (property manager) was really easy to communicate with. The cottage was spacious, plus nice area outdoor area for our dog to explore. Water was clean, but beware, the lake bottom is covered with rock of various sizes, making it difficult for anyone with balance issues to enter. Views were excellent, and plenty of sunny and shaded areas to enjoy the outdoors. Thank you so much Darcey for being so easy to communicate with, and responding to our every question so readily.

A wonderful week on the lake

We had a lovely week in Innisfil and loved the property. It was spacious and nicely decorated and furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans, and enough cutlery/plates/etc to serve 10. Excellent water access just metres from the cottage with a small private beach and dock. The water is rocky for the first few metres so bring water shoes. Generous stocked with a canoe, paddle boat, life jackets, etc. Tons of seating areas inside and out. Appreciative of all the fans provided because the inside can get warm in more extreme temperatures. Would love to come back next year!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property and recommend it. Area is simply beautiful - great for taking long walks, running and there are small public beaches at walking distance when you need a change. Place was super neat when we arrived. Wine and cookies in the fridge was a nice touch! Kitchen fully renovated and well equipped. Bedroom of good size - note that walls don't go up to roof so not ideal if you need lots of privacy. Outdoor is really nice as well. Clear water! Darcey is responsive and on the evening of our arrival, someone came to check in - answered our questions and brought me a hair dryer!
