"1st class hotel. The staff are so friendly, nothing is a bother to the staff. Made my daughter's 6th birthday super special, brought her pancakes for breakfast with nutella then give her a card & chocolates. That night we brought a birthday cake for after dinner not only did all the staff sing to her but the whole bar sang aswell made it extra special. Swimming pool was clean with heated floors in the changing rooms aswell."

"Staying here was an delightful experience. You are in a grand house that was built in 1740 and has been beautifully and lovingly restored. Michael is the proprietor and is very friendly and easy to talk to. The gardens are lovely and there are several restaurants within easy walking distance of this charming small town. Highly recommend."

"Reading the previous excellent reviews, you sometimes wonder if they are absolutely true. Let me say, if anything, they weren't kind enough. Having arrived really late due to a delayed flight, I happened to ask what it's like getting a taxi to Carlingford, and waa offered very kindly a lift to the wedding we were attending the next morning. The rooms were spotless, the views locally were breathtaking, ths breakfast wonderful. I cannot recommend it more highly. Thankyou for your wonderful hospitality"

"This was our favorite hotel of our trip! The family room had 2 twin beds and 1 king bed, all the beds were very comfortable. The room was decorated and set up as though in a castle and the kids loved it! "
