"Unfortunately, I hadn't read the negative reviews before I booked our stay at the Rainbow Sea Resort. While our suite had stunning views over the ocean and was attractively decorated in a Hamptons/beachy style, as shown in the promotional photos, those were the only positives. The bathroom and kitchen were in dire need of a thorough deep clean; there was grime and black mould in the bathroom, and a very unpleasant smell in the kitchen. I should also point out that, although the Resort's website...

"The property was beautifully decorated, with great views. Location was perfectly situated between the 2 sand blows. But the internet connection is poor and couldnt watch any netflix etc. Insulation between master and living space was zero and theres no door between master and ensuit. The noise coming from the appartment above at night time was constant, as they had children running around at all hours of the night and the use of the spa from above after 9pm. From other bedrooms the elevator was...

"Unit was lovely and clean, and good access to amenities, beds were nice and comfy, was a little bit surprised that we had to supply our own sheets, towels, bath mat, hand towel and tea towel, (apparently we could hire the sheets etc for and extra $15 per person) we don't go away for holidays much, but haven't had to supply those things, when staying at a holiday place before. The parking was good, the pools were lovely. overall, was a lovely place to stay."

"Initially we were disappointed that the unit did not overlook the ocean but then realised it was actually one of the best units to have - it overlooks the main street which always has activity happening but is not too noisy. Not being ocean front meant that we did not get the full on ocean wind. We did get afternoon sun on the front deck but it is one of the few apts that has a rear deck as well which we loved. Very convenient to all restaurants/bars and other conveniences as well as the beach....
