"Great location on the port. Very clean and good service."

"It is really only so so. Our room had been refurbished (and I paid extra for that) but the pillows and mattress wasn’t great. There were extra pillows in the wardrobe but without pillow covers so not much use. Service mixed - they don’t have a restaurant open but we’re happy to put something in the fridge for us. But when we wanted some hot water for tea they could not provide that in the afternoon. I would have been happy to pay. There is a coffee machine in the room but that never works for tea. Breakfast was just ok. Lots of choice but quality of product not great. (Awful bread rolls). Good tea at breakfast though. All in all mixed. There are better hotels in Wilhelmshaven at that price point I think. "

"You pay here for location, not a lot else. Rooms are ok, hotel average overall, very limited communal area (just the foyer), the 'bar' looks like an afterthought added to the end of the reception desk, breakfast pricey for what you get, staff ok but expect no more than thr average german customer service. No aircon in the rooms, which were already feeling warm in early May. Fine for business travel when just a bed needed, for anything else you will likely be disappointed."

"The location of the hotel close to a lake and not far from the South beach is good, 1-1.5 km walk to the museum and not too far into town. Spacious room with good facilities. Could advertise better where to reccycle items such as cans and plastic."

"My room in this hotel was very clean, had a strong shower with good water pressure and hot water, there is a machine for buying coffee anytime downstairs, and there is a breakfast available for an extra price. I had to go catch a train Sunday morning and the breakfast didn’t begin until 7:30 because it was Sunday, so I missed it and was not able to eat since I had to be out catching a train at 8am. I think breakfast should always be available early for travelers. "

"The hotel was located in a great area near restaurants and shopping. It was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and we had no problem communicating with anyone, even though we speak very little German. Would highly recommend the Nordsee. "
