"Fantastic situation which suited us and our 2 dogs perfectly. You need to be organised with food due to the nearest shop being over 30 miles away but that being said we found some fantastic eateries on our road trips around the area. The negatives are that the ceiling are very low the stairs awkward and narrow and the condition is basic. Take chairs with you so that you can enjoy the sun trap garden. Luckily we had really good weather (last week in Apri)"

"We enjoyed the everchanging spectacular views from the cottage, the little bay with the opportunity to swim, the friendly sheep wandering around the place and the exceptional hiking opportunities in the area. Despite its remoteness the cottage offered all comfort needed even in bad weather. Light challenges with the water supply were resolved in no time by the friendly caretakers around the corner. "Wonderful location and an amazing wee place to stay. The hut had everything you need for a stay and was perfect for my stay. The only minor drawback was the steep gravel hill you had to negotiate to get to the hut, so be prepared for that. Beautiful location which is one of the best Iâ€™ve stayed in."

"We had a lovely stay in Opinan, near Gairloch. The house was clean, we had nice beds and we enjoyed the the bath. Extra's where the views over the bay, and the nearby beach. (water was a bit cold). a very nice place to stay. But specially for the first night, don't forget to bring your diner and breakfast, as the nearest shop is about a 20 minutes by car. We recommend a stay in this cottage on this special location."

"The property is in a very quite area - which was perfect for us. The nearest area to eat out is Applecross which is a 20 min drive along a stunning coast road. Note you will need to bring everything with you food / drink wise as there is only bottled water available. Watching the world go by from the cottage, with its stunning views, was just what we needed.
