A Home From Home At The Crossroads Of The Scottish Highlands.

A spacious lounge with log/coal fire and views across the glen leads into the hallway to access the very large, recently installed kitchen and dining room. There is a shower room with WC and wash-hand basin and a separate bathroom with shower, wash-hand basin & WC. We also have three bedrooms, a king, a double and a twin room. Off the kitchen is the utility room with laundry and drying equipment. Outside, the garden separates the property from the forest and shields the house from the road.

Fantastic!
Our family stayed here for three nights and would definitely do so again. The location was great as we were centrally located among the things we wanted to do. The cottage was close to a main road, but secluded among trees, so we felt further out than we were. The home was well-appointed with everything utensil or small appliance you need for cooking meals and doing laundry. There were plenty of linens provided, and the beds were comfortable with extra pillows. This was a very homey, comfortable cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

Well located holiday home
The property was in a good location for travelling to places, Fort William, Fort Augustus, Isle of Skye. All what you need in the kitchen, although a little on the dark side as the sun streamed into the front of the property where the sitting room was situated. One of the sofas was a little 'tired', but plenty of books, games at if needed. Bathrooms and bedrooms fine and in good working order. Utility goods were top spec. and excellent and easy to use.

Lovely place in a lovely area. Perfect for discovering the Highlands and isle of Skye. It's a long drive (another 3hrs from Glasgow) but worth it. Property has everything you need and hosts could not have been more accommodating.

Charming Cottage
This beautiful home is tucked back in the woods, and it provided us with a peaceful and relaxing retreat after our long days of driving to different sites. For our trip, it was a central hub that allowed us to travel to Inverness, Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, and Ft William. The home was clean and comfortable, and with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The owner provided us with detailed instructions on how to operate showers and appliances, and we were very appreciative of their recommendations for area attractions and places to eat. Thank you, Mike and Ros, for providing us a warm welcome and a place to land as we set off on our highland adventures.

Beautifully clean and central to the Highlands
We had a superb week at the Beeches. The property is immaculate and well appointed. From reading the welcome folder I think its a family home that has been let out as a holiday property. It retains that lovely home from home feel, not modern but cosy and comfortable. Its ideal for exploring the Isle of Skye, the Caledonian Canal, Great Glen Way, Fort William and out to Mallaig....all within reach for a day trip. Its tucked away behind another house, but is not overlooked at all, surrounded by woodland it feels private. The owners are super helpful and communications excellent. The bungalow is dog friendly and has a little garden at the back which is thoughtfully fenced off. We would definitely recommend and return.

Holiday at the The Beeches
We had a wonderful week staying at The Beeches, Invergarry. The property was everything we had hoped for, clean and well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Plenty of lovely walks nearby, even saw red squirrels from the bedroom window! Looking forward to returning for another stay.

Like a stay at Granny’s
Everything you need for your family is in the cupboards and drawers. Seriously I mean everything! Lovely location to walk, drive and take in some sight seeing (Fort Augustus, Loch Ness, Fort William, Isle of Skye and much more). Well placed for restaurants if you don’t want to cook (Invergarry hotel bistro and bar is walking distance) if you do stay in then the kitchen has everything you need. This place does not cater for those with boutique style hotel tastes, this is like your Granny’s home that you have come to visit. It isn’t modern (heating is new though and nice and warm), but it’s very comfy and has a nice homely feel. Lots of space too (enough for my dancing daughters to pirouette everywhere). We had lots of fun playing the board games there too. Highly recommended.

The most perfect Christmas getaway
This is the most superb holiday rental. The house was warm and cosy for the entire visit, even at 6am in the morning when my six year old gets up . Fantastically equipped kitchen which has everything you need. The walks and bike rides from the house are the best we have ever experienced. Beautiful location and a well equipped, extremely cosy house - what more do you need from a rental!

Short review . Would I use again, Yes. Longer review. Excellent location, fully furnished with everything you need. Bar-hotel 1/2mile away if you don't want to cook. Accommodates 6 adults with ease. Comfy beds. Good size bedrooms. Excellent owners, good communication. Two good bathrooms (one with a power shower) the other with a bath. Parking for 2 cars though we got three on the driveway. Quite, little noise, and not overlooked.

Spacious peaceful cottage
Loved our stay in the Highlands. The Beeches was a perfect cottage, clean, well-equipped, with large lounge and kitchen diner, heated towel rails in both bathrooms and heating throughout. Great selection of books, games and maps. The location was ideal with good main road access to many surrounding tourist spots yet totally quiet overnight. Lovely walks straight from the cottage. Would happily stay again if we ever returned to this area. Would recommend booking a supermarket delivery before you go, we used Morrisons but think Tesco and Asda may also deliver there?

Brilliant location
The house was comfortable, cosy and everything we needed was there. The location is excellent, easy access to the great glen and Skye for a day trip, water sports on Loch Oich and Glen Garry might be the most beautiful of all the beauty spots in the Highlands. The house itself feels like it’s in the middle of the woods when you’re in it. The owners gave us lots of useful info on local places to eat, all were great.

Great Facilities but in need of updating
This was a great place to stay but right from the front door the property looked old and tired. We had a few communications with Mike who was really helpful both in helping resolve difficulties and in providing useful information. The facilities and equipment were really good - lots of utensils in the kitchen, lots of games and DVDs in the living area, as well as local maps etc. The bungalow simply looks like it has had a hard life and minor things such as replacing dirty and split silicone sealant would make a great difference. That said, the bungalow was as clean as conditions allowed, it is close enough to a couple of local hostelries to be able walk out for a meal and is beautifully secluded.

Great highland base!
Great house location, saw so much of the Highlands and Skye from here. Eilean Donnan, Drumnadrochit, Glencoe and Glenfinnan Viaduct. Lots of ticks on bucket list. Mike and Ros communication excellent. House had everything we needed and with a teenager daughter, 2 bathrooms were a god send. I would arrange a home delivery food shopping a few weeks in advance. No supermarkets near. Thanks for letting us use your lovely house.
