The best hotel on our Scottish travels. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. My wife who is not very mobile found movement around the hotel excellent for her needs and staff helped in ensuring diable parking available Dinner and breakfast service and food choices also excellent.

All perfect apart from booking our meal in the evening in the restuarant .I booked the meal the guy in the bar wrote it down but on arrival in the evening the staff had no record of our booking .Eventually we did get a table but i noticed others were turned away for the same reason .What i will say is the restuarant staff were excellent and pulled out all the stops for us .I always tuse the Palace Hotel but this did not go down well .Of course the meal was excellent .

The staff were lovely and very helpful, upon arrival we were give the wrong room we had asked for two single beds and were give a double room so had to request the change instead a porter was sent to part the beds on doing this there was fruit and chocolate behind the bed

Alles in allem ein tolles Haus. Leider nicht ganz unser Geschmack. Darüber lässt sich bekanntlich streiten. Es war soweit alles gut für uns. Sind aufgrund der extremen wetterbedingungen früher abgereist. Der Aufzug war leider defekt. Für uns ok, für ältere Leuten sicher ein größerer Act. Sowas kann man vor Anreise kommunizieren. We were so happy with our stay . We had dinner at the restaurant there one night and it was very good . Also they were so kind when they had to get into the room for a repair. They went above and beyond to be considerate. We loved the view of the castle from our room also.

The hotel is nice with great amenities. The area around the hotel is great with both cheap & fancier restaurants, bars, coffee shops, grocery & convenience stores, and novelty/clothing stores. The castle was not open during my stay, unfortunately, but the proximity from it to the hotel is ideal. The front desk, bar, and restaurant staff were all very cordial. The main issue I had with the hotel was its squeaky floors -- possibly a cold-weather event in Scotland as I faced this a couple times before in other cities. The morning I was checking out and packing, the guest below me came up to request I stop moving about my room because he was hearing my walking-about! Not an ideal experience there.

Hotel is right next to river ness. Near plenty of food and coffee shops. About a 10 min walk to the train station. Hotel is old and needs updating, especially for the nightly rate. My room was also pretty far away from lobby/main building. Lots of hallways and doors to go through to get to my room. If not for the closeness to the train/ rabbies pick up location it would be less stars.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, our weekend getaway felt truly special. The hotel’s location is unbeatable, nestled right by the river, with stunning views of Inverness castle and just steps away from the high street, fantastic restaurants, the Cathedral and plenty of places to explore. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated for Christmas creating a warm and festive atmosphere from the spectacular entrance with its high windows and inviting fireplace. Our room in the turret was cosy and confortable and waking up to beautiful views of the castle was an absolute highlight! We made the most of the hotels amenities including the swimming pool and the jacuzzi! Although we didn’t book any spa treatments the spa area looked truly luxurious and inviting. What made our stay truly memorable was the outstanding service form Louise at the reception. She greeted us with a beaming smile, shared jokes and made us feel genuinely welcome form the start. Louise provided helpful info about the hotel and the city answering all of our questions with enthusiasm and care.
