"Great location. Walking distance to the tram and the Main Street. Parking is a bit confusing, need to use the parking lot next to the hotel, not at the hotel building. Then ask the front desk for a discounted parking tickets for the specific parking lot. Little bit complicated. "

Only "dislikes" were no English language channels on TV and quite a step up/down into/out of the bathroom. Minor niggles when set against the positive aspects of this hotel. "My 2nd visit to Japan, but my first visit to Nagasaki. What a beautiful city and well worth a visit. From paying your respects at the National Peace Memorial Hall and seeing the Atomic Bomb Museum etc. Let alone the ropeway up to Mt Inasa. I stayed 3 nights, but could have done with another night. The Hotel New Nagasaki offers good value for money in a central location. Also, very convenient to nearby the Railway Station. The staff were all very helpful and polite. My room was large, clean and spacious. With a comfortable bed. For the price, breakfast was good value. My only negative, was the charge (2000 yen) to use the fitness room. Which only had limited equipment. Needless to say, I didn’t bother I would have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel New Nagasaki. "
