Check-in was quick and simple. Clean and spacious room with a good walk-in shower. However, the TV kept losing its signal which was rather annoying. Breakfast is a hot and cold self-serve buffet. The evening menu has a good variety of choices. On-site parking is limited and was full by about 16:00 on the two nights we stayed.

Will definately stay again. Only down side is big hotel with only small carpark, only bout 20 carparking spaces inc bout 4 dissabled. This will also cost you £10 a night

Close to the train station which is why I chose it. About a 1 km walk to waterfront restaurants and bars. There is really not much nearby. Buffet breakfast pretty good. Bizarre system where you get a 7 digit access code for your room. Tip: photograph it on your phone.

Wow! What a lovely experience! We enjoyed every minute at this hotel. When our plans changed and I spoke to the staff, they accommodated our needs graciously. We will return to this hotel chain in every location. Our next stay will be in Belgium. Looking forward to it.

Took my partner away here we stayed here for 2 nights. On arrival staff was very welcoming and helpful. Parking here is expensive but if you park on Compair crescent which is near (5 min walk) by it’s a lot cheaper saved myself £15.00. Convience stores are very near for your essentials. 1 Lifts was working on day we arrived and other was out of order. Then the other lift went down so had to use stairs in end for rest of our stay,which was ok but on departure we had to carry everything up and down stairs as had to make 2 journeys to room to get our belongings. Breakfast would been better if food was kept warmer as was only very luke warm when we had breakfast. Was very happy they provided soya milk so thank you . Didn’t buy any food or drink at the hotel but as thought prices was too high priced. Would stay here again to see if anything my comments has been listened too. But was a good stay apart from my negatives. Good bus routes into town and railway 5 min away so good location.

A clean hotel and a pleasant stay for 2 nights. Parking is extremely limited but the West End Road car park is only a short walk away and both reasonable cost and easy to pay via the MiPermit app (which will give you a Vat receipt afterwards). The buffet style breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean and the staff helpful.

This is a great location if you’re going to an away game at Ipswich Town Football club. The hotel is great - pretty similar to a Hampton by Hilton in format and style. It’s just over the Bobby Robson bridge so an easy walk to the ground or the town and a slightly longer walk along the tow path to the Marina area. Staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Food is good. I ate there for an evening meal and it was freshly cooked and tasty. On site parking so we left the car there for the match and then walked back after the game. I’d definitely stay there again (but Ipswich is a long way from the Boro for an away game) UTB!!

The bedroom was basic but comfortable and clean. However, there was only one small wondow giving very little natural light. The heating seemed uncontrollable and the staff tried to help but without effect. The bathroom is a wet room. There is nowhere to hang towels. The extractor fan is very weak. We were not aware of a parking charge before our arrival. Parking is limited with insufficient spaces.
