"We had a wonderful 3 night stay just after the New Year. The hotel is full of character, and the room we had was clean, spacious and well appointed. Service and food amazing. Not cheap but well worth the price given the experience we had. "

"Clean and tidy hotel, very warm welcome at front reception. Lovely to be handed a proper door key rather than a digital keycard. Swimming pool small but clean and warm temperature and the hot tub was delightful. Great access to local pedestrianised shopping area."

"It was difficult to find the hotel parking as we arrived at night, but OK once we got our bearings. The hotel room is huge, but looking a bit tired. I loved that I could have a bath, as this facility is missing in so many hotels now! Our room was on the street front so it was noisy from traffic, despite double glazing. The beds were very comfortable though and there was a good supply of tea, coffee etc but no teaspoons!"
