"Only complaint was north hotels shower doesn’t have enough shelves for your products while in the shower. Tv is not a smart tv and you cannot stream Netflix etc. No balcony on 2nd floor of north hotel. Mini fridge could be bigger. Over all all amenities were amazing. Location amazing. Restaurants were amazing we ate at the Italian restaurant and northwood pub. Everyone who worked at the resort was extremely friendly. "

"We loved the paddleboards, kayaks, floating dock, and pontoon. So many fun things to do on the lake. The fishing was good. It was fun to see the turtles too. The deck off our cabin was wonderful to sit on anytime of day, the spaciousness of our cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Our kids all had their own room. "Shady Hollow deserves an easy 5 star rating. My husband and I stayed with our 5 children aged 1-8, and it was perfect. We all enjoyed the beach, beautiful lake view, swimming, paddle boards, fishing, pedal boat and kayaks, which was included in the cost. The lake was shallow enough for our kids to play safely and there were plenty of toys on the beach for them to use and build sand castles. "We couldn’t check in until four in the afternoon and had to be out by 10 in the morning on Sunday, and so even if you have two nights you feel as if you only had one day. "This is a cute motel. The property was clean and we had excellent communication. We were able to get an early check in when we called which was wonderful. Check in and check out was easy and convenient which doesn’t always happen with motels which have been updated. The walls are paper thin, so if you are a person that needs quiet I would say this is not the place for you. The bathroom was clean but the tub was not updated(think pink). "Simply delightful! Has everything you would need with beautiful views and amenities. I had to look a few times for “check-in and out” rules and procedures-abd couldn’t find any. I think common sense tells a person to treat the property as if it was your own….and have a wonderful time! Such a nice person to deal with. If this place is available for your time away-I would highly recommend to grab it-you won’t be disappointed!!!!"
