"Since it was first time with VRBO, I was a little nervous about the whole process going into it. Rob was great to answer questions and deal with both myself and my granddaughter.It was an ideal location for visiting the Hudson River Valley and along the coast to Newport. We flew into White Plains and it is just a 20 minute ride away. The apartment was clean and convenient. We only ate 3 meals in 5 days away from there. "This is an older property. Musty and not fresh orders throughout the house. It is obvious that they only surface clean the interior as you look under the bed or on shelves and they have not been cleaned in a very long time. As for the Host (John) we made the mistake of missing our check out time and John demanded we pay a late charge (which I agreed to and paid but then after moving out John then demanded another full days rent ( which we also paid) even tho we were never given the opportunity...

"Like others said, it is a great option for an affordable stay! The place is small but filled with all you may need. It is clear Jose is continuously trying to improve guests' experience as he has updated his amenities to include things like a microwave and nice bedding. It might be nice to also include some shampoo in the shower. Overall, nice stay AND host, also really close to the bus station to get into New York."
