Clean, comfortable rooms and clean, comfortable shared bathroom on the hall. They also have free self-service laundry that was especially useful after long hikes. The entire staff were kind and helpful. I highly recommend!

This hotel is a very cool looking building. The entire building looked to be remodeled and was very nice. Our room had a full kitchen and very large bathroom. The check-in lady was very friendly. This hotel does not have self check-in so I'm not sure how it works if you arrive late. There is a doorbell to ring help. It was walkable to all of downtown for bars and dining. We really loved the location. I can't think of anything negative to say.

We had a very great stay!! Everything was very clean and the bed was comfy! The staff was also very kind, friendly and helpful! On thing is one of the showers was not working when we were there so the line to get to the shower was pretty long. Other than that one very small thing it was great! Would recommend to anyone coming to Isafjordur!

Location was excellent with easy walking everywhere. However this building is very rundown and needs major upgrading and maintenance. The entry stairs are steep and dangerous. Our shower was nice but the doors came off their rollers. Cupboard doors didn’t close properly, furniture was inconveniently placed, the fan over the stove didn’t work, and there were no instructions for a microwave which was unlike any we’d ever seen. The kitchen did have a wide variety of utensils and the apartment was reasonably clean.

We stayed in a studio. It has very thing that we needed from private bathroom, full kitchen, basic cookware etc. The building is a remodeled historic building, very charming. We stayed on the top floor with old staircase but we did not mind - just to enjoy the architecture. The only thing is shower head and bathroom heat did not function swell.

If you cannot climb 32 steep old style circular staircase, don’t bother. There is no elevator. Barely available street parking. No reception. The staff spent exactly 60 seconds in a hurry. You are likely to hit your head in the bathroom if you get 4th floor attic unit. Avoid this if you can. The microwave was horribly placed about the head level with a cabinet door that might hit your head. Watch out.

Excellent location for this well equipped studio

Great facilities, excellent location and good value. We used the shared laundry facilities, which were fine. We enjoyed the kitchenette in our studio and especially the coffee machine.

It doesn’t look like much on the outside but when you get inside the guest house, at least on the floor we were on everything was modern, clean, and comfortable. The common bathroom was large and well equipped. The manager, from Thailand couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful.

Did not realize the room was a shared bathroom. Never would have booked. Managers were not at all friendly. No elevator. Street parking was not plentiful.
