"We really enjoyed staying at La Rotonda sul Mare. It was the perfect location for our vacation. Amerigo and his staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. "Where to begin....it’s an apartment and not at all as described. We arrived on Sunday to no staff. We literally wandered the building until someone took pity and helped us. Exhausted we napped only to have the owner banging on the door (not using the buzzer system) loudly and aggressively demanding the tax money of 15 euros. "This boutique family run hotel is in an ideal spot overlooking the pretty harbour of Bacoli. The hotel is recently renovated and is to a high standard. "We had to ring owner to get into apartment even though it stated that reception was from 6pm to 10.30 pm. There was no balcony in the apartment but yet it stated on website that there was. The apartment was nice and cosy but as I said the misinformation on the website was disappointing."

"This apartment is round the side of the house and a bit enclosed. After the first day and a very short explanation, we never saw the owners/managers. Sparsely furnished it really needs an upgrade. No information provided about Ischia in the apartment. Nevertheless well positioned and we had an enjoyable stay. Watch out for deadly mosquitoes."
