"We had a fabulous 10 days at Prime Energise. Sadly Hotel.com booked an incorrect room however the hotel did as much as they could to help us. We booked a suite with a full terrace however we only had a small balcony, was annoying but we made sure it did not affect our stay. We had full board which meant we cold either choose from the buffet meals or 20 euro spend towards the The al a carte menu. We choose the al a carte and it was absolutely outstanding with many of the meals below 20 euros anyway. Staff were all so friendly and attentive. The rooftop pool and bar area are again really good and always had spare loungers. Personally we could do without the music but that's just our preference. The beaches at Monte Gordo are outstandingly beautiful with lots of lovely beachside restaurants and bars. We visited Vila Real, Tavira and also hopped over to Ayemonte for the day, all close and certainly should not be missed."

"Boa localização, util ter piscina interior embora o estado da mesma não seja o melhor. Os empregados não são antipáticos mas quando perguntei sobre opções para jantar no hotel não faziam ideia (em duas situações distintas). O hotel é um bocado velho e os quartos sao básicos e antiquados. Ficámos num quarto em que a caminhada do elevador era um bom bocado. O pequeno almoço é básico. Serviu para dormir e a localização é bem boa."

"From a smooth check-in by friendly, efficient staff to a similar experience on departure, the hotel was a very enjoyable experience. Although busy, the breakfast-time was organised and operated extremely well - to me, always a sign of a good hotel: tables cleared and re-set quickly and the wide food choices replenished rapidly. I used the pool bar for snacks and drinks and, again, found the staff courteous, friendly and helpful. Our third floor room was v spacious, clean in all areas with a simple to operate A/C. The only minor blemish of the week (really!) were the soap/shampoo dispensers in the bath/shower, which needed a bit of adjustment at first to get them to work. I would strongly recommend the Hotel given my experience there."

"Excellent hotel, breakfast lots of choice, pool big, all staff helpful and friendly, minibus takes you to Tavira town 3 times a day and Cabana beach 2 a day, they collect you too. "

"Modern hotel within walking distance from the town centre . You are greeted on arrival by a glass of wine, which is a nice touch. The rooms are spacious, clean, and with a decent size wardrobe, plus a fridge and a desk. Pool view rooms have a balcony, which also get the sun. Breakfast is very good, with a good selection of hot and cold food There is a gentleman playing the piano each morning. There is also sparkling wine available. The only downside is that it's quite noisy, especially if the hotel is busy, with no soft furnishings to absorb the sound. The two pools are nice but the water was cold on our visit (May). There is a pool bar for drinks, and more than enough sun loungers. A downside is that the bar plays music all day which I think is too loud, and not to everyone's taste. My idea of a relaxing time by the pool is not necessarily listening to someone else's choice of music. I think this is something that that hotel should look to. You don't really need music at all by the pool in my opinion. There is a rooftop bar which has indoor and outdoor seating, and has live music some nights, and a DJ at other times, starting from 20:30. The Spa is a waste of time, the pool is only 3m by 10m, the steam room was out of order, and the sauna was under repair. I was in and out in 5 minutes! There is a €10 deposit for pool towels. Note that from 7th May the hotel have introduced a no cash policy for all bar and restaurant payments. "
