"The lady at the front desk, Julie, was world class. We stayed in the suite and enjoyed the roof top porch and hammock. It is difficult to get good pancakes in Central America but they were perfect each morning. I had them all three days we were there. I will return."

"This is an absolutely beautiful property. The room is clean, comfortable and our kitchenette was more than well equipped for our needs. The onsite restaurant offered a good variety of choices and everything we ate there was delicious! The dive boat picked us up right from the pier and we also snorkeled right in front and saw some rays! This is more isolated than the in town places but way more beautiful and tranquil if that’s what you’re looking for. Huge bonus is that all the water is safe to drink at this spot unlike other places on the island. As far as the hosts go- I can not rave enough about them. I had several questions before our trip and they were always answered promptly and informatively. My husband had an unfortunate accident in town during our stay (nothing to do with La Hacienda in any way). Liann was a true angel helping us to make alternate plans and arrangements so we could get him back to the States. I can not recommend this place enough if you are looking for a nice, peaceful and comfortable place to stay."
