Birds and sometimes monkeys and iguanas coming close.The next door hotel is not functioning, so the place is quite calm.Swimming in the Laguna is a incredible treat!Unfortunately 'La Giralda' really needs investment and renovation.The air conditioning is so noisy that it is impossible to use. "Really nice and quiet place not far from Paradiso (5 minute walk). The hotel has kayaks and SUP available. The ”homeless” man that someone rudely commented is a very friendly man who looked after us really well. He arranged food to be delivered to our room and our laundry to be done. Extremely service minded man! Great hotel at a beautiful place and good value for money"

"This property is BEAUTIFUL. From the front desk, to the spiral staircase, the pool , the cafe, and the rooms. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast at the cafe was the best. The pool was wonderful after a long day in Granada. The room was clean and cozy and was perfect and reasonably priced for a last minute stay for just a night. The rooms had a mini fridge which was super convenient. Loved this hotel so much and will certainly come back again."

"Hotel Casa Sam Francisco was an incredible stay in an incredible town. The thing that really stood out was the staff with how friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable they are about Granada and how to get around. The owner Terry took time during breakfast to speak with me and check in on me, which really made the hotel feel very welcoming and warm. Also, it is a very interesting historical building and within walking distance from many attractions in Granada. Would 100% recommend!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Plaza Marbella. This charming boutique hotel was an unexpected gem in Granada. Its location is excellent—just a short walk from the main square—making it easy to explore the city. We also appreciated the lovely pool, and the complimentary breakfast was a wonderful way to start each day. What truly made our stay exceptional was the attentive and welcoming staff. Blanca, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. She was incredibly friendly, often anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. She also arranged all of our transportation, including transfers to and from the airport and transportation between Granada and the San Jorge port for our trip to Ometepe, making our travels completely stress-free. The outstanding hospitality made our experience memorable, and we would definitely stay at Plaza Marbella again. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Granada."
