"Booked in for 1 night but liked it so much we stayed for 2. Nice quiet room with lovely views of snow capped mountains and the sun streaming into our room in the afternoon to keep it warm"

"The staff are very friendly here. Got a couple of free drink vouchers which were appreciated, and you can enjoy that drink by the fire in the dining room. Be aware the hotel has no elevator (which is very inconvenient) and the rooms don’t have air conditioning/heatpump. You need a degree to figure out how to operate the heater in the room, and I didn’t find it very good. If you visit in winter, I suggest taking the blanket out of the waredrobe and putting it on your bed as soon as you arrive. The wafer thin duvet & sheet won’t keep you warm. The bathrooms are also very old style (the hotel has a new name but has not been “upgraded”). That said, I found the shower really good and lovely big fluffy bath sheet towels which were amazing."
