Huckleberry Escape is conveniently located close to miles of ATV trails, restaurants and gas stations. This attractive apartment is located above a two car garage towards the base of Sawtelle Mountain. This property consists of two separate bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a cozy living room, dining room and kitchen (please keep in mind this is not a full-service kitchen and only intended for small/ easy meals). Perfect for smaller families who need a quick escape from the city to mountain country. The kitchen is equipped with most cookware to make meals (again please keep in mind this is not a full-service kitchen and only intended for small/ easy meals). No satellite tv but there is a smart dvd player so bring some of your favorite movies along. A bbq grill is available for cooking outdoors. The apartment may be rented in addition to the main cabin if you have a larger group. Additional pricing for larger cabin.

Yellowstone trip housing
This location was perfect for our trip to Yellowstone. It was close enough to the park (25 minute drive or so.) The cabin was big enough for the three of us and could have accommodated 2-3 more adults. There wasn’t much as far as the town it was in. Everything closed at early. We only stayed two nights and left for the rest of our destinations. It was really nice to have the full size washer and dryer with detergent available since we had already been on the road 4 days prior to our arrival. If ever in the area, we would stay here again.

Excellent cabin close to west Yellowstone
It was tucked away right off the highway, it was super clean and comfortable. 20 mins to west Yellowstone, great little market right across the road, this cabin has everything you need. Will stay there again.

Great stay!
Great location with grocery stores close. Short trip to Yellowstone. Great communication and instructions, directions, etc. Small bathrooms, but nice having two full baths esp with 3 children and 2 adults. Washer and dryer were very nice as well. I'm picky and would stay again. The washer/dryer/storage area could use a bit of cleaning, and the sink had a smell, drain area needing good cleaning.

A little disappointing
The apartment was quite adequate for all our basic needs. The kitchen was well stocked. The wi-fi didn't work despite the owner's efforts.. The living room couch has been overly sat on if you want to put three people on it to watch TV. It is a nice location in the forest but a bit of a drive to Yellowstone if you are making multiple visits to the park, which we knew knew before making the reservation.

The condo is really nice. Very attractive. Good internet. The beds are very comfortable. And the kitchen had everything we needed. The only disappointing thing is the living room furniture. The recliner is broken and not very comfortable. Neither is the couch. Replacing those would rate an excellent review for sure.

Loved this place!

Cozy Stay
We stayed here for our family vacation to Yellowstone. The cabin was easy to get to and clean. We were missing kitchen towels and when I texted them just to let them know. they came out that day and brought us some. I do agree with some of the reviews that the furniture could be updated but otherwise I would recommend this cabin to everyone.

When we arrive at 6.30 PM, the cabin was NOT CLEAN. The previous guest towels and liners was still inside. Because it was after office hours, we send text message to property management. They texted back after 10 minutes and tell 2 girls are on the road to us to clean the cabin. Girls are finished withing 30 minutes. Inside the cabin the sofa and couch too small for group of 4. Inside the kitchen only 2 salad bowl (4 or 5 people can sleep inside the cabin). Also cutlery are limited, pots only 2. The hood was not working, . BBQ also needs some change (rusted inside). Mattress are very soft and uncomfortable. The good is: heater was working very good, washer and dryer inside also plus. 2 bedroom with 2 full bath also plus. Fridge was working very well. Perfect those family who is not cooking. Location also very good.

Cabin has great location, close to two restaurants. Also only about a 15 min. Drive to West Yellowstone. Cabin could use some new furniture in the living room, very used couch,chair not bad.Bedrooms need new mattress. Overall this is a great place would use again . Cabin is very well built with great craftsmanship.

A lot to be desired
Little things could make this property amazing. Like a fan when its 100degrees (a lot of people fly and can't pack those and everywhere in town doesn't have them, we checked) more furniture to sit on in the living room (maybe even some bean bags) and charging the cleaning fee is fine but the person renting shouldn't have to wash all the towels and sheets; and if you do that the property should at least supply the laundry detergent. So to be out by 10, I had to wake everyone of my kids up early to start washing things, while sitting on the floor in the living room. Not impressed at all with the cabins amenities

This home was a great place to stay while we visited Yellowstone National Park. I did have concerns it was too far from the park entrance but in fact, it was only about a 20 min drive. We waited longer to enter the park!

We stayed here on our trip to west Yellowstone. The cabin was just as described, and wasn’t a long drive from West Yellowstone. We enjoyed our time in the cabin, and it suited our family perfectly.

Convenient place to stay.
The place was very nice. It is well located for trips into Yellowstone. The beds were excellent. The only negative was they need to replace the couch and the chair in the living area, and maybe add another couch or chair. A few chairs on the porch would be a plus also.

Okay - but room for improvement
Overall our stay was nice - but some improvements could be made. Only 1 of the 2 burners worked; however, when I complained the managers dropped off an electric skillet. Glass serving size bowls are needed for microwave. Hot water heater only lasts for 2 showers. More furniture in den would be good as well. Internet was spotty at best, but we were told to expect that, so can' t really complain about that. Grill was nice. Overall place was clean except a large spider web in one room.
