A very high standard hotel, we enjoyed everything, there are a variety of attractions in the hotel such as a pool, spa, bowling, we took a trip on a buggy. The hotel staff is polite, very helpful. Special thanks to Elbi, who accompanied us with everything we needed. On our next visit we will return to the hotel without a doubt.

Perfect Family Getaway at hotel.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Basqal Resort and Spa Hotel. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The warm and welcoming staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of, especially with the kids. The family-friendly atmosphere of the hotel made our stay incredibly enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The surrounding nature was breathtaking—peaceful, green, and perfect for family walks and outdoor fun. One of the highlights was the spa and wellness area, where the adults could unwind while the kids enjoyed safe and engaging activities. The hotel offered a great balance of relaxation for parents and entertainment for children. Dining was another fantastic experience. The variety of food catered to both adults and kids, with fresh, delicious options at every meal. The staff was always attentive and kind, making sure even the youngest guests were happy. We left with beautiful memories and a strong desire to come back. Basqal Resort and Spa is truly a perfect destination for families looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy quality time together in a stunning setting. Highly recommended!

The welcome from Elmi was great. However, after this, several things did not go well. The first day we were there, room service was very slow. On the 2nd day it improved. In the evening, music was blasting from the 1st floor of the hotel that could be heard on the 4th floor. We informed hotel staff, yet they did not do anything for an entire HOUR until midnight, when we contacted Elmi directly, who was able to help us and the music finally stopped. Loud talking was heard outside of our hotel room from staff that same night. We also heard yelling from staff during the day while outside on a walk on the property. We put the sign for cleaning outside our door, yet no one cleaned our room in the morning the 2 hours it was there. We called hotel staff to request a room clean, and they said they clean after 3pm (first time we had heard of such a thing) but would make an exception and send cleaning staff, which they did. It was strange since check-in time is at 3pm and check-out noon. The day of checkout, we requested cold medication if available early in the morning, and they said it was not possible until 9am. We called half an hour later, then they sent it up to the room. Why it was not possible the first time we called is unknown. Breakfast was good, but the service alone is not worth returning for. The staff are not helpful despite it being a highly rated hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and had lots of gorgeous amenities, the spa and gym in particular were very well equipped and the staff were very friendly. The food was excellent, and the setting is stunning. It is also worth either running or walking up into Basqal village to go and see their silk painting.
