"This is one of the best hotels in Tel Aviv, particularly because of its beautiful and historic building. However, the overall level of service has not lived up to the setting.
One recurring issue is the lack of assistance with luggage upon arrival. Each time we have stayed, nobody comes to help park the car or take our suitcases at the entrance. We have to come in and ask someone to come help- surprising from 5 stars hotel.
Elizabeth at reception is an exception and deserves special mention. She is excellent-professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful.
The pool is crowded and too noisy, with loud music playing.
Overall, the historic building and atmosphere are wonderful, but the service needs significant improvement. After several stays, it is frustrating to see the same issues recurring. The hotel has a lot of potential, but the hospitality should be much more attentive and professional."
