"Located in a very safe neighborhood in Rio, Barra da Tijuca. The Hotel is well equipped with amenities, gym, swimming pool, sauna, spa, restaurant, bar. Breakfast was excellent, managed by a very competent Mr. Richard. The restaurant was also very good with very friendly and nice employees. All the top and major shoppings in Rio are at most 15 minutes away. The one drawback is that it is a little far from Copacabana and Ipanema, mostly due to the traffic. However, it does have one of the best beaches about 15 minutes away, the Barra Beach. I would not hesitate to stay here again!"

"On arrival before 10 a.m after a 30 hours flight trip. We were very very tired and exhausted. We begged for a very light breakfast to Anna the receptionist. Anna recommended us to buy our own breakfast at a very distant bakery. But was sparingly given only coffee and being strictly supervised by Jenny the Restaurant Captain if we were snatching any other food. We were treated like we were some low life travelers. We even explained to Anna that we were to skip 2 of our breakfast from our total stay. Anna had no sympathy. We had to wait until 3 p.m for our room. Although, there was availability of spare rooms. Swimming pool was freezing cold. No heater in the jacuzzi. The best receptionist was Alexio. Always ready and willing to help to the extreme. Experienced a gun point robbery during our stay which was very very scary. Right in front of the hotel door."

"Considero a estadia como muito boa no geral. Fiquei em um quarto menor que em outras vezes, mas ainda assim muito bom. O atendimento dos funcionários foi excelente, como já é costume. As únicas coisas que eu reporto como não tão boas são: 1- o colchão que estava bem avariado (com as paredes laterais em mau estado, dando pouca sustentação nas pontas). Apesar disso, não estava muito desconfortável porque colocaram um futton bem grosso por cima. 2- em outras estadias o café da manhã tinha mais variedade de pães, mas os que havia (francês e de forma) e os bolos estavam bons."
