"This is a great location in the central lake area. Close enough to to more touristy areas, but more like a local neighborhood. Near to the Lenno boat which has regular service in central lake area. We had 9 adults, 3 couples and 3 singles, and more than enough room for everyone (singles had their own room) Four floors, with parking and sauna room at street level (basement) with an elevator. "Beautiful property, magnificent lake views from all bedrooms. Excellent location, easy walking distance to restaurants, a main attraction historic Villa, and the ferry. Owner took her time explaining how to get to each attraction, best bakery, recommended restaurants which lived up to the hype, happily arranged water taxi, and was responsive when we had additional questions throughout our stay. Loved it all!"

"A stunning villa in a wonderful location above the village of Gargnano. The interior layout works very well for a family or group of friends ( we were a family of eight). Only slight drawback is that two of the bedrooms don't have AC so can get hot.The exterior terraces and pool are really great with superb lake views. A short 5/10 minute walk takes you down to the village with easy access for swimming in the lake and a variety of excellent bars and restaurants. So overall a great place to stay."

"This spacious villa was perfect for our extended family group of 8. The antique furnishings were as pictured, and comfortable. Our liaison, Jeanne, was a sweetheart and so helpful during our stay. The villa is on the main road and within walking distance to the town and lake. The pizzeria two doors down was very convenient! "Charming house with lovely view. Positives were the open plan central floor where we could all meet, and the view from the top floor bedroom. Negatives were the regular power cuts, the smaller bedrooms are hot without AC, and the walk to Menaggio is 30 minutes and of questionable safety in sections. Overall we had a delightful stay, a great time was had by all and George was really helpful !"

"This villa was spectacular. The view was breathtaking all the rooms were large, comfortable and well appointed. There was a great balcony with a large table and seating area where you could see beautiful sunset views. The kitchen had everything you need and then some. Unfortunately, there are too many things wrong with the house and the local management company to recommend it. When we arrived, the lawn was very overgrown, the outdoor furniture was a mess and there was no umbrella as pictured on the website.
