Because it is attached to a property, it is less expensive than the main house. 20 minute walk to the train, but needed a taxi with luggage because it is up at very big hill. The woman who manages the house, lovely and accommodating. Remember to bring a bottle of wine and a snack to sit out on the deck at night and enjoy. "

"Al Terre di Mare was the perfect place for our 3 nights in Cinque Terre. The hotel is charming and clean, with gorgeous views and a wonderfully-appointed room with everything we needed. "A more attentive host will be hard to find. Elise took care of every request. Constantly on premises making sure your stay is comfortable. Walkable to the train station and the ferry port. Host has several rooms on the main floor of an apartment building. The rooms are segmented from the rest of the building so you will have no interaction with any of those tenants. "A bit off the beaten path but the views were stunning, the room was spacious, the service was outstanding, and breakfast was solid too. Yes this is an older property that could use a refresh, but for the money it can’t be beat. Note the map on Apple didn’t take us all the way to the property but there are signs along the way so keep driving - gated entry to parking right off the street near the top of the hill - can’t miss it."

"The staff was terrific and offered a great deal. The only incident was when the staff that did the laundry charged over 70euros more as they checked a box on my laundry sheet stating I wanted expedited service. And the laundry came back wet. They quickly resolved the issue by taking away the upcharge and taking our clothes back and drying them completely."
