Uninhabited and totally raw. This is Siayan or Ditarem (in the local dialect) Island. It is the nearest island to Mavulis - the Philippines' northernmost tip. Torongan Cliff in the island of Itbayat in Batanes, Northern Philippines. Depending on where you look, this place has Hawaii and New Zealand vibes. Said to be one of the most ancient dwelling place with a burial ground as well as a cave that opens to the view of the ocean. This place was also said to be the first landing place of ancient Austronesians from Taiwan in 2000 BC. #Outdoors #trovember
While trekking Mount Riposed, we took a shortcut from Ckerit Cave to marvel at this view of Tayawun Rock. Definitely one of the best moments from that Batanes trip.
