The houses are located right at the end of the valley and you have a good chance to see moose, deer, red deer, foxes, hares and capercaillie right outside your living room window. In the surrounding area there are good opportunities for mushroom picking and berry picking in season. In the river Otra you can fish very well. Here is also the boat, which is rented for free and you have to pay only for gasoline. On request it is also possible to borrow nets from homeowners. In Evje you will find various activities, including rafting, climbing, mineral park and go-kart. Also make a day trip to Kristiansand.
