"The staff was great. They offered us bananas ans coconut water from the trees. The pool was anazing! We used it at night with the stars and in the early morning . It was 102 degree day so we limited outdoor activies to morning. The air was a lttle slow to cool. But it did get cool. The extreme heat was probably the problem. But we loved the place!"

"This Hacienda is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are stunning, so much to see and explore. The little casita rooms were very clean and well equipped. The staff were wonderful. We stayed here as a family of four and can’t wait to return. Next time we would bring our own food as there’s a kitchen in the Casita, and the restaurant is only opened for breakfast which we didn’t know. Everything was wonderful. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, and a time to relax in gorgeous surroundings...

"This is our second stay at this property and this time we stayed for two nights as a family of four. Everything about this place is 5 STAR! The food, the service, the room, the amenities are all amazing! The property is kept immaculately! "Perfect hacienda with a beautiful mix of rustic and luxurious. Service was very attentive to all our needs. We stayed in a detached hut, which was a cool (and air conditioned) place for our family of 3.Two gorgeous pools and a lovely palapa let us cool off in the heat of the day. Delicious Yucatecan food from the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Amazing birdwatching on the property. Not much nearby except for Mayan ruins at Ake. But this lovely place IS your escape. "

"This property is beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice. I like that it was quiet. It isn’t near downtown Izamal but cabs are cheap about 250 pesos. Only 10 bedrooms available. My two complaints dinner was very slow. Took over an hour. I wish they would have brought our appetizer and drinks first but they brought everything at once. Second complaint there is only outdoor eating unless you decide to eat in your room in the dining area there were a lot of flies. I understand we were outdoors but it drove me crazy. But seriously don’t let that stop you from going that’s how beautiful this place is! "
