"Typical Spanish hotel, full of dark furniture but in an excellent position. Restaurant looked good but was closed, maitre de directed us to possibly the worst restaurant in spain.Will definitely return as Antequera is delightful"

"The receptionist said that there were parties going on & he could change my room if it was too loud. The only time I found it loud was when we had dinner in the restaurant, kids playing around like kids do. Had a great stay & don’t mind kids playing around, shows they are happy kids!"

"The property is absolutely beautiful and is located in a very, very small town outside the very small town of Iznájar. The countryside is beautiful, rolling hills covered with olive groves. The patios and pool area are gorgeous. It’s a good choice if you have a car. I think it would be tricky if you’re relying on a train or bus system to get places. We had a car and found this to be a good central location for exploring Andalucía. We were able to get to Granada, Córdoba, and Málaga in under two hours. The hosts are nice and helpful, Kath lent is milk and even did our laundry for us! The place is well-equipped with everything you need. The only caution is be careful if you’re tall! My husband is 6’3” and had a few mishaps before he remembered to duck in the “low bridge” areas of the apartment."

"We had a brilliant time visiting Andalusia thank you. We will be back to see so much more. The villa was spot on, had everything we needed. The hosts were great and accommodating of our late arrival. Juan was quick to reply to all our messages. Lovely guy! We enjoyed days around the pool and visiting the area. The adrenaline ride on the last 200m was even fun once we were sure. The pictures, though spectacular, do not even do justice to the views. Just amazing vista across the lake. We sat every evening just marvelling at the sunset. Thank you Juan and your family."

"This house is wonderful for up to 6 adults . We were 2 in their 50’s and 4 early 20’s. It is beautifully furnished , with Rachael’s style throughout . We loved both of the terraces , the mid terrace is perfect for breakfast , lunch and an afternoon chill . The upper terrace is well equipped with a small kitchen and bbq , and another seating areas with outside sofas and a large dining table . Kimberly the local property support couldn’t have been more helpful , always at the end of WhatsApp and lots of suggestions locally . She also arranged for some Spanish ladies to cook Paella for us which was a treat . The area is stunning , with incredible sunsets , lots of restaurants recommended locally if a very high standard . My only caveat is if you have very little children , or elderly , the steps up to the terraces are quite steep and rugged . We would definitely return"
