"The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a Keurig in the room along with a refrigerator. Only complaint about the room was the shower. It dad one of those rainwater shower heads that make getting soap out of hair difficult. The breakfast was good with fresh fruit, bacon, sausage and oatmeal. Juice, coffee, milk, and tea. The only thing I wish they had was Purell. I hate touching the serving spoons everyone has handled and no Purell in site. The bar was great. Food was also very good. Had fish and chips (excellent) and side salad which also was great. "

"Classic older hotel with a mid century vibe. Rooms are very large and the beds comfy. Fairly new owners have nicely refurbished some of the public rooms, but the restaurant lost the cold wine sales refrigerator and most every prepared food and drink items. Still a great place to stay in Ashland."

"Great mattresses! Nice rooms. However, due to wood floors, we would recommend booking the top floor, as otherwise you'll hear the footsteps from the floor above your room."

"My stay was excellent on all points, until I went to check out and found a cockroach in the bathroom. When I returned the key to the front desk I reported the cockroach finding and the clerk assured me they’d look into it. "

"Great location. Convenient Bus stop across from the hotel in fron of the visitor s center. The host at the visitors center was Very knowledgeable. The park and war memorial is very special."
