The bed was so high I had to stand on the frame to get into it. The light switch didn't work. The breakfast was cold, coffee and waffles great, insufficient seating. Hamburger meat improperly ground with insufficient seasoning and sauce, espresso martini excellent.
Staff was amazing and anxious to please, especially the front desk.
The dtaff was so friendly and helpful! The breakfast was great and the hotel was very clean. Just wish they had a pool or access to one with neighbor hotel.
Our stay was good! Breakfast was yummy. Only issue was since it’s an older hotel the hot water was down in the too
but we only stayed for one night.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
While the staff was exceptional and the views were fantastic, the property itself is severely showing its age. The building had a noticeable odor, and the overall condition is in desperate need of a major renovation.
I genuinely appreciate older properties with historic character, but historical charm shouldn't come at the cost of basic upkeep—such as heavy stains on the hallway carpets and furnishings that feel like they're barely holding together. You can tell this place had a grand glory era in the past, but unfortunately, the upkeep stayed behind in that era as well.
What a classic, well-staffed gem of history in a most beautiful beachfront setting! Nothing compares with a Penthouse martini while watching the sunset’s colors.
Nice old vibe! Right on beach! Penthouse was nice and the view! Lots of places in walking distance!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The best part was the staff starting with Diane who had an outstanding personality and customer service. We actually thought she was an owner of the hotel. Vickie who just started is very friendly and will fit into this front desk position perfectly.
Breakfast was very enjoyable. Our waitress Sam went out of her way to make sure we were happy including having more tea bags ordered for Carol's morning cup of tea.
The beach and ocean views are spectacular. This is the most incredible location. You can be on the beach in about 10 steps. Beachtowels were provided by Diane .
Amazing assortment of restaurants within walking distance or a very short drive. Parking was free in lot across street.
Such an awesome stay, the staff took care of was really well. My wife’s birthday and the view was good from the room, but if he went to the rooftop, it was beautiful view. Would definitely stay here again recommended.
Historical irreplaceable hotel. The list of famous past guest s is truly impressive. And the fact that it is haunted is also plus. I think the spirits never wanted to leave and that's why they stay. You should stay there at least once I'd send your lifetime. The location on the beach is also superb.
We stayed for the 4th of July and it was a great place to stay if you are party goer with great views, and decent customer service with the one staff they have on duty. The room was clean but there was rust on the bathroom fixtures.
Other than that, it was good over night stay while it lasted. Also, the free breakfast is not the hype they make sound to be but they do offer penthouse brunch but that will be extra. I recommend this place to stay if you like partying and going to the beach.
Great location I love the access and can’t wait to see the upgrades. The towels need updating they are dingy, no microwaves in the rooms or ice machines on the floor.
The customer service was very good, the hotel is outdated. I reserved mine as a suite from friend reservation was a 1 queen bed . They paid $70 less and when we got there we were both checking out they got upgraded to a suite facing the ocean for free. How unfair is that. And I stayed in the suite without an ocean view. Beside that the room has a musky smell, the hallway floor is dirty and the room floor is not clean either. the bathroom super outdated. The towels are dirty whites I’m sure it’s clean but it’s stained, it’s white but old dirty white. And best thing there’s a little cockroach crawling on the table, the dining is dark , the breakfast space is too tight . The breakfast is ok but again the service is very good. No microwave inside but hey there’s a fridge. No tea but there’s coffee. $200 a night is not worth it. Good location in front of the beach.
The Casa Marina hotel is very eclectic. The hotel is great for a lot of reasons. It is on the beach, the staff is exceptional, and it is located in a great area for dinning and shopping. Love this hotel!
Check-In was super quick and easy. The pictures of the property are spot-on. Breakfast was good (same choices every day). The Penthouse Lounge/Deck was excellent and was awesomely convenient. It is an older building, but they are currently renovating. A great place to stay!!!
