My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the covered wagons. Our children loved the swimming hole and all the toys. The covered wagon and bathroom were well appointed and very clean. I would highly recommended this property to others!
Such a fun, unique experience to add to our family’s West Coast trip. Our kids absolutely loved the whole stay.
And even though there’s a “bathhouse” disconnected from the stage coach, it was super clean and actually the best shower I had on the whole trip. Compared to all hotels!
I highly recommend 10/10!
What a fun stay! This campground was amazing- so well thought out, clean and cozy. Our girls had a great time, and the hosts were very kind. We would come back for sure!
I can't believe how wonderful our wagon stay was. Everything was perfect. The property, amenities, location, privacy, hospitality, and farm experiences were all spectacular and could not have been improved in any way. It was a perfect vacation and we are already talking about making a return trip in the future so that we can enjoy the experience again..100% satisfaction and joy!
been been improved in any way.
We had such an amazing time at the stagecoach, everything was very well done and so cute! We had 3 adults and 2 kids and were very comfortable in the stagecoach. The fire pit was great for the chilly hours and games were so much fun for the kids. Just wish we had been able to stay longer, but we will definitely be back!
What a wonderful experience. Thoughtful is the word I would use to describe the site. So much love went into this little carved out piece of land. It felt so special and personal. Better than I could have ever expected. My partner and I had a truly magical time there In Stagecoach and we will be back.
We loved our stay. It was quiet and relaxing. From this property we took day trips to the Oregon Caves and Apple Gate wineries. The covered wagon and area was beautiful and clean with everything thought out. We highly recommend.
Booked this place because it was about the half way point from Redwood Parks and Crater Lake. This place did not disappoint. Such a beautiful property and all the little touches they put into it did not go unnoticed. We booked it just as a place to spend the night and head out first thing in the morning. We ended up staying a little longer in the morning to walk the trails which had some stunning views. My kids loved it and said it was the coolest place they have ever stayed. I wish we could have stayed another night or two. Quiet and beautiful place. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay in the Conestoga Wagon. Our two families booked both, so we had nice privacy. We wish we could have stayed more than one night. Even with the cold during the time of year we went, it didn't feel inconvenient for the bathroom to be outside. The wagon and the bathroom were toasty warm. Such a wonderful experience - the kids loved it! Nice touches throughout. We can't wait to go back for a longer stay.
We had a wonderful time staying here! You can tell how much thoughtfulness was put into every detail of the property/wagons/bathrooms/etc. We loved seeing the animals up at the farm and walking on the nature trails. We would've loved to swim but it wasn't quite warm enough this time. And next time we will definitely be bringing a kayak to do the river float down the Applegate, and to float on the pond. The hosts were responsive and kind! Next time we plan to bring friends and book both wagons!
When traveling and needing the stay the night somewhere- my husband and I always try to find something different or unique! We love the outdoors and adventuring- so this wagon was the perfect stay for us! Tho we got in late and had to leave shortly after waking, we were still able to take a short walk of the property and see the river and all the unique touches the owners have put into their property. It was quiet, nestled into the perfect spot amongst trees and nature.
The bed was comfortable! The wagons heated- which we were thrilled to see! They had some games and cards we utilized, coffee and water. Was just peaceful and relaxing.
Something truly different- which was what we were going for!
Our stay was so great that we wished we had been able to stay for a few weeks to really use all the outdoor opportunities afforded by this beautiful property. We didn’t use the outdoor area associated with our wagon other than to play cards because we were out and about sightseeing but everything was set up beautifully. The walking paths and swimming hole were so inviting. A microwave probably isn’t feasible but for us, who wanted to maximize a long weekend of adventure, it would have come in handy. I wouldn’t have done anything else differently. There was some week day commuter road noise but it was short lived. Just go to the river and welcome the day at the picnic table. That’s just what we did. Absolutely beautiful! You’ll get a chance to meet your lovely hosts but they give you your privacy though they live just above the riverside Conestoga wagon camp location.
Everything was amazing. Even with unpleasant weather and smoke from wildfires. In fact it was noticeably cooler where camp is located. The surrounding area and water locations are wonderful & beautiful.
The hosts are salt of the earth! So friendly and obviously passionate about their Homestead and providing a 5 Star experience. This is Glamping!
The wagons are fantastic. The bed is SOOOO
comfortable. You seriously do not need to bring much more than food, tableware & clothing because the hosts have thoughtfully provided just about everything!
Very available & responsive to EVERY message & question I had. We rented both wagons & spent 3 wonderful days with our son & his girlfriend.
THEY EVEN TOOK THE TIME TO GIVE US A FULL TOUR OF THE HOMESTEAD, INCLUDING THE MANY ANIMALS.
THESE ARE VERY HARDWORKING FOLKS WHO'S PRIDE & PASSION SHOWS!
KIDS WOULD SIMPLY HAVE A BLAST HERE!
110% FULL RECOMMENDATION
I rented both of the wagons at this site for my guests who came to help pick our wines. They LOVED everything about the experiences. One couple told me as soon as they arrived they started sending pictures to their pay area friends as they found the lodging so exceptional and unique. One guest mentioned several times that the llamas on the property were the icing on the cake. The hosts have forgotten nothing to make it a wonderful experience. They thoroughly enjoyed their time there.
This is a wonderful place to stay and such a fun experience. The smallest details were thought of when we arrived and we felt very welcomed. There were so many little spots to hang out and play and see. Our 4 year old had a fabulous time in the swimming hole and seeing the animals! I'm not sure I would recommend the venue for under 2 yrs as it was a little tough, however our little one had a great time exploring, picking berries and playing her version of cornhole! The wagon even had enough space for us to set up her portable crib with room to spare! We would absolutely come back and thanks to the hosts for putting together such a fun space.
What a unique spot in the middle of the Applegate Valley! Glamping at its best. The wagon was well appointed with a comfy bed, power, a small fridge and a keurig. Bunk beds for the kids and room for a 5th person to sleep as well if needed. The immediate area was well thought out with the bathhouse right nearby. A seating area outside was comfortable with a fire stove and a grill. A hammock and cornhole set as well. Access to the river was a short walk away, as well as the shallow swimming hole with water diverted from the river.
This is a great place to hang out if you just want to chill for a couple of days, but is also a great jumping off point to other Applegate activities. We did wine tasting, a show in Ashland, and visiting Oregon Caves National Monument. Great time!
