The Hermitage is a wonderful property to stay at in Jakarta. If you like to walk there are restaurants and shopping close by the hotel. The staff at the Hermitage are professional, customer oriented and more than willing to assist you in anyway. The room is very comfortable and the bed is especially welcome after a long flight. We have stayed here before and will stay here again.

Ab excellent Marriott property. The warmth and friendliness of the staff made our stay comfortable and well worth it. Except breakfast. Use of the Club Lounge to unwind after a hectic day of sightseeing was really a welcome! Good selection of spirits and cocktails with a pretty good spread of dinner.

Staff were very courteous & polite. All the staff including securities from morning until evening made you feel very special 🙂. One of the best hotel I ever stayed. Special thanks to fellow named Satria, who was very helpful more then one occasion 😀. Hotel itself is a old colonial building which has been converted in to an unique hotel. I wish stayed there longer.

A truly characterful stay. Housed in a beautifully restored 1920s Art Deco building in leafy Menteng, The Hermitage strikes a rare balance – heritage grandeur paired with genuinely modern comfort. The rooms are elegant and impeccably kept, the lobby full of lovely period detail, and the rooftop delivers some of the finest views of central Jakarta. What stood out most was the service: warm, attentive and sincere, without ever feeling stiff. Breakfast was a highlight and a wonderful introduction to Indonesian flavours, and the staff went out of their way at every turn. A peaceful, refined retreat in the heart of the city – an easy five stars, and I'd return without hesitation.

The hotel is in an excellent location, and the staff were truly outstanding. Every single team member we interacted with was professional, welcoming, and attentive — genuinely top-notch service throughout our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, making for a very pleasant experience overall. The only area that could use improvement is the spa. It is not really a full spa facility, but rather a small room dedicated to massage treatments. Expanding and enhancing this area would significantly improve the guest experience and better align with expectations for a hotel of this standard. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily return in the future.
