"A plumbing issue meant the room we booked was not available but we were informed the day prior. The hotel offered a room of the same size (but with two full beds instead of one king) and the other option was a comparable room in a hotel in a different part of the city, albeit not that far. We chose the room with two full beds since we booked the hotel in part due to the location. We made the right choice. The location is excellent for sight-seeing in the Zona Centro area of Guadalajara. Additionally, the staff were incredibly helpful. The room was large, nice, and very clean as was the bathroom. Maid service is as daily and was helpful. The El Chato restaurant great. The breakfast buffet and eggs/waffle/hot cakes grill stays open until noon, which worked perfectly for us. The bar on the mezzanine was relaxing and had good service. The hotel lobby was nice and very artsy. Would definitely stay in this place again if we return to Guadalajara. "
