"This is the best villa we’ve stayed at. It’s right on Jambiani beach which is a really beautiful and calm beach (compared to Paje and those in the north such as Nungwi and Kendwa). It has only 3 villas with a pool, so there’s privacy and it’s quiet.
We stayed 4 nights at the second floor villa (Bibi Juu) which had a large balcony where we had our breakfast while looking out at the Indian Ocean. Breakfast was provided by the lovely housekeeper, Rehema, and was a huge spread of eggs, fruits,...

"All the staff and general manager Mr Kunal were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond their duties. Even the security team made us feel safe and secure. We left our kids for few hours and they made sure they didn't leave the complex and we're kept safe. Joshua, Joe, Kunal, and the all the team in the kitchen catered for all our needs. "Lägenheterna var mycket bra. Lite svårt att få någon kyla i vardagsrummet där dottern sov dock. Mycket vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta boende. "
"Struttura nuova e molto ben curata! Personale a dir poco fantastico, gentilissimo e disponibile a qualunque richiesta.
Unica pecca, il percorso per raggiungere il mare. Bisogna attraversare un villaggio, che a priori potrebbe intimorire gli ospiti ma che poi alla fine risulta invece una piacevole esperienza, dove si vede come vivono i residenti. "
"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure you were happy. The hotel was clean and the pool quiet and beautiful. Beach access was great and the view from our room was stunning. It was a great place to relax after climbing Kilimanjaro! Only issue was limited range of food, particularly for vegetarians. "

We had such a wonderful stay at Alma during our first night in Zanzibar. They were able to arrange a driver for us from the airport, and it was a very smooth process. They can arrange any excursions you want. Everything is kept sparkling and clean as they service your room twice a day. The food is outstanding. Chef Ali and his team serve amazing good. If you are a foodie, this is the place you want to stay. You will not be disappointed in a single thing.

The reviews on this place did not serve it justice! I was blown away at the amenities that were not mentioned. When you arrive you are greeted with a welcome drink and cleansing towel. There is a restaurant on site and you basically get a concierge that you can message whenever you need something. They even provide a grocery list of things they can shop for you and will do your laundry (both for a fee). Shuttle to sister hotel to go to the beach was a good plus (no fee). Staff was...

We could only stay one night. For sure next time we'll book for more.
We had a room on the first floor viewing the swimming pool side (not the garden) and the sea.
Everything was perfect : the decoration, the room, the team, the food.

A beautiful white sandy beach and well maintained hotel is the core of this lush resort. Supported by a very friendly staff and competent management guarantees a great experience. The food is excellent and if you have a chance, try the private dinner setting at the beach with your very own server. Finally the Sultan "s bath and couples massage is the ultimate experience . On a lighter note, request a mattress topper at check in, unless you like it firm .

Wonderful Stay at Maya Hotel Resort!
I had an amazing experience at the Maya Hotel Resort during my 7-day stay. My first impression wasn’t the best, as we arrived at night, and I couldn’t see the ocean because the tide was out.
