"We stayed 4 nights and found everything beyond our expectations. The house is a great value for its size and furnishings. The neighborhood was nice and peaceful. Like the house where we stayed, all the homes were well kept and the lawns manacured. Our house was a few blocks from the beautiful town square and courthouse. Gallatin is a quaint little town that is much like a "Mayberry," without Andy, Barney and the rest. You can walk the streets without fear and go back in time with nostalgia.We visited nearby Jamestown where a very large Amish community is located in the rich farm land about this little town. There is a lot of history of uncovered in this area from the frontier days as well. Hopefully, we'll get to visit again and stay once again in this wonderful house and see even more."

"I checked in at midnight. Staff was patient. Room and parking are convenient. Location is good, close to gas station and McDonald. Good place for stay overnight by traveling I-35."

"A great stopover at a great price! Walmart, gas, restaurants close. There is access to a trail nearby. Nice park in town (near the high school) for a picnic dinner or play time for the kids. If nearby again would stay again. Mediocre typical free breakfast. "

"So while this is no 5 star place in an overall sense, it is 5 stars amongst its price point. At the price I paid, I was expecting to regret life decisions. As this was sinply a stopping point in a long drive, I had two main expectations... good AC, comfortable bed. Far from the best bed experience, it was not too firm. The AC is a window unit. It was loud but it definitely worked. So my two main points were met. Should mention staff was nice, helpful, and courteous. Thing to be aware of, there is NO ELEVATOR. I was on the third floor and was annoyed but luckily I didnt bring my big bag this time since it was a short trip. I wouldnt mind stopping here again as a layover point. And there was a place that served food till 10pm arouns the corner. I feared getting in late at a small town meant no food. McCorkles is closeby and serves later, at least till 10."

"After we unpacked in our room, we found that the TV remote wouldn't work. Given another room. The overhead light above the sink did not work. We found that leaving the bathroom light on and keeping door open allowed us enough light to get ready in the morning. The young man at the desk was helpful and the room was pleasant. Breakfast buffet was excellent."
