"A group of my college friends and I rented the Highland house for a girls weekend reunion. Girls came from Minnesota, St. Louis, Colorado, and Kansas City. We are all in our 30s now and many have kids, so we wanted peace and quiet and a place for a larger group to gather. We certainly found it! The house was immaculately clean, beautiful, and very relaxing. We had 8 girls and it was big enough for all of us. I've rented quite a few vrbos and this one was the best stocked with little touches (bath bombs, epsom salts, eye masks,extra toothbrush if you forgot yours, slippers, robes, etc). We loved all the little details! The pool was perfectly clear when we arrived and has a big sun umbrella and plenty of recliner/zero gravity chairs. We spent a lot of time by the pool! The firepit is huge and also had more than enough seating for all of us, plus a grill, outdoor table, and bar area. Brad was great! Came over and lit a fire for us in the pit when we got there. Also made sure we had plenty of firewood for the weekend, extra propane for the grill, and roasting sticks for smores. When I asked before our trip if there was a blender he replied immediately that he would get one for us. I love cows and he also arranged for his daughter to bring treats over so we could feed the mini highlands. She was very sweet! She also took us across the street to their barn and we got to help feed the bottle babies. Highlight of the trip! As was the massage chair! We hope to come back again one day."

"As others mention, they do a $100 deposit for "incidents". We had a single king bedroom. We were impressed by having the extra space as we were easily able to set up 2 pack-n-plays for our kids. Room was very clean. Pillows were what you expect as well as bed. Nothing to brag about, but did the trick for the night. Didn't use pool. Breakfast was typical for a Choice hotel with cereal, some bakery items, bananas, yogurt, and hot food of biscuits, cream of mushroom for gravy with biscuits, eggs, and sausage links. Easy on/off of interstate. Worked great for family of 4."

"The Hamilton House is an older home that has been beautifully restored. It was very clean, and the listing described it perfectly. It was the perfect setting to gather with extended family for a fun weekend trip to MSQC. I would definitely stay here again! :)"

"Great place to meet up for a girlfriend week at MSQC. Friends from coast to Rocky Mountains meet to visit Hamilton MO. Hamilton quilt museum was great, worth the time seeing the history. Fun time shopping. The Gingerbread house was perfect for friends to hang out and catch up on old time and tell stories."

"We stayed here for a few days and had a great time. The location can't be beat if you are looking for something close to all the Missouri star quilt shops. It's just a block away and we walked most everywhere in town which was nice. The apartment was very nice and very clean. The beds were a little soft for us but by no means does that change this review rating as that is a personal preference to have a firmer mattress. The only issue we had was using the door lock but our host responded quickly when we said it wasn't working. It was a little temperamental so be aware. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area in the future. Thanks for hosting us!"
