"Gym N/A Room was clean. The first room we stayed in felt bare bones: no bathroom safety bars, no stand to set suitcase on. We used the ironing board! Not enough towels. We found there were handicap rooms available. What a difference! Those bars in the bath made safety a relief!"

Courtyard by Marriott Erie Bayfront

"We enjoyed our stay at the courtyard Marriot. The location was fabulous and we enjoyed being right by the lake. We were there during the Celebrate Erie festival which was a 20 minute walk from the hotel to downtown area. The walk was only longer due to construction on State St by UPMC Hamot which blocked off State St and you had to take a long detour. Our favorite part of the stay was the infinity outdoor pool and the hot tub. Although the hot tub needed maintenance as its temperature was under 100F so it didn't feel very warm but it was good enough to enjoy. Rooms were clean and spacious too. I was a little disappointed that parking was an additional $16 per night, and that you had to pay Starbucks for a cup to get the self-serve coffee in the lobby. Given the room nightly rates, I think they can afford to serve coffee in the lobby at no extra charge. Overall I highly recommend for families with children."

"The staff that was there for my trip where amazing. The check in man wasn’t as friendly but still professional. The two young men and the lady top tier staff!! Only downfall was the ice machine wasn’t working but that is because a guest turned it off. Will be staying there anytime I go home!!"

"This is our go to place in Erie. Can't be beat for the price. Clean, comfy, no frills. Nice pool, free hot breakfast, shopping and restaurants near by. Splurged and got the whirlpool tub this time. Nice to soak in after a long day."
