"Their " beachfest" the day we arrived was a very obnoxious loud rapper artist that went on till 3am, called reception at 1am , not helpful. This is a monthly event. No hot shower for 1st 3 days, staff was rude when repeatedly asked for them to fix it. They offered a late check out last day. Won't go back again. Too bad because location was great"

"Was an amazing stay! The property is well kept and bigger than I thought. Having an adult pool was really nice and peaceful! We added their breakfast to our stay and had a lot of options and was delicious. From the resort it’s about a 5 min walk to Jan Thiel Beach, grocery store and many restaurants, shops and snack bars! My only complaint is that if you decide to dine for dinner at the resort restaurant they are pretty slow so don’t go starving cause it will take a while. We dined out or at Zest on Jan Theil beach instead most nights. Would for sure stay again and highly recommend!"

"DO NOT BOOK THIS HOUSE AND DO NOT LET THEM KNOW YOU HAVE DAMAGE PROTECTION/TRAVEL INSURANCE. Curacao is such a beautiful place and I had the time of life on this island but this house was a total nightmare and once the host realizes you have money they will try to scam you at every turn. I booked a decorator, a private chef, 2 black truck SUV’s, and a professional photographer to commemorate what should’ve been a great 36th birthday but this villa was the worst part of my experience. When I arrived the extremely thin comforters on the bed were dirty and stained, the rooms downstairs were uninhabitable due to an ant infestation. So even tho I had 9 ppl in a 8 bedroom home, many of us had to share rooms because there were ants in the beds. The villa manager takes 24 hrs to respond to any and every issue. They say 400kw is included and more than enough for 16 guests but they charged me 360 for electricity for 5 days even tho by group was gone 12 hours of each day. They also charged me over 800 for damages they could not provide a single receipt for so I couldn’t even the travel insurance I paid additional for. I ended up having to dispute with my bank."

"We had a lovely time at CHOGOGO, but for a resort, some things were lacking, such as someone greeting upon arrival, bringing our bags up the stairs to our room, the lack of cleaning by housecleaning, and a few more. It was more a Airbnb vibe than a resort. But for the most part, it did not hinder the amazing time that we had. Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. PROS * Fast check-In * Attentiveness and communication of staff when issues arise * Small plunge pool and hot tubs across from the sea view apartment. * The Sea view * Fantastic breeze on patio * Streaming Apps: Netflix & YouTube * Kitchen utensils, etc * AC in the bedroom * Supermarket steps away * The Restaurant on grounds- very good CONS * Improper seating in the living room. The chairs are totally uncomfortable to sit with your spouse and watch TV. * Uncomfortable beds * No lighting for entry at night into the room * Improper lighting in the bedroom. * Housecleaning: Biggest Issue. They clean every 3 days which is great! But they just threw the towels on top of the towel rack, don’t clean anywhere. Everything was just as it was left. They only things they did were, change the towels in the bathroom and the kitchen, take out the garbage, and make up the bed. Dirty patio with bird poop. The fact that reviews complained about some of these issues and they were not addressed cause a lack of repeat customers, not good!"

"Lovely home and a great location. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The kids loved the swimming pool. Highly recommend!"
