"An interesting property in extensive grounds shared by the Llamas and one deer. Out granddaughter loved the animals and all the artworks and decorations in the house. It was convenient for Central Lyon with a very efficient bus , train and tram service available. Patrik and Veronique were very friendly and helpful ."

"This was a family trip from America. First time in France, loved the city but was so nice to come back to our home for the week in the country. We all fell in love with everything. The host was very kind, helpful and was a nice part of our week. Thank you for allowing us to live in your world for a memorable week. Elle pourrait l’être mais malheureusement l’entretien et la propreté ne semblent pas être la priorité des propriétaires : jardin à l’abandon, mauvais écoulement de la douche, cafetière Nespresso HS…Quel dommage dans un environnement résidentiel ! Pour info il n’y a qu’une sdb et non comme précisé dans l’annonce"

The villa is located about 15 minutes drive outside Lyon city center which was absolutely perfect as we were able to enjoy clean air and nature in a hilly countryside while still being close to everything Lyon has to offer. Would definitely stay here again and recommend without reservation! We also came during the summer heat wave and were happy to stay at Villa Castel which is on the hill and a few degrees cooler than the city, especially at night!!"

"Originally only booked for 1 month as we were relocating to France, however due to the Covid-19 outbreak ended up staying for 3 months, and could not have been in a better place. The accommodation, area and neighbours were great would highly recommend this as a place to stay and not to far from Lyon center."

"This was a great place to spend a family Christmas, complete with Xmas tree. The property is very clean and well-equipped, with plenty of space to spread out. It is close to two supermarkets as well as other shops and the metro into the centre. It was easy to access from the airport using the tram / metro. Getting into the centre of Lyon was also quick. The owner was helpful and gave us plenty of information. Definitely recommend for large groups."

"Our group of 12 had a perfectly comfortable 2-night stay at this very spacious and well located home. We were six teens and six adults – the house easily accommodated us, including each of the teens having a separate bedroom and the bathroom layout working well. Just blocks from the Carrefour, we were able to shop easily and then use the well-equipped kitchen.
