"The staff were amazing. My partner has a allergy to scents and our room was heavily perfumed. We were able to view another room which was much better and we changed rooms and enjoyed our two nights. We really appreciated the staffs care and kindness with this issue. The breakfasts were amazing. Lots of choices. We would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"We loved everything about our stay. Lots of attention to little details in restoring this comfortable, historical farmhouse into a great getaway retreat. Facilities for campers, glampers and 3 comfortable, cozy upstairs bedrooms. A great eclectic library (everything from Keith Richards to the original Winnie the Pooh collection!) And ...the "Dutch Baby" breakfast was a real highlight! Thanks!"

"Loved it, was probably the best motel I've ever been to. The staff is very friendly, and there is a very nice canal in the back. There is a bar in the lobby as well full of townies, and the rooms are nice. This is the place to stay if you're in the area."

"Our suite was great for us. It was comfortable and well appointed. The weather was wet and rainy so we really enjoyed the gas fireplace. One suggestion would be to put a lamp in the sitting area. For people with "old eyes" it was hard to read printed material on the couch."
