My phone recognised it as the correct number, but I kept getting the "not recognised" message. I waited 90 minutes, during which time I sent two emails. Unanswered. I went to another hotel. I will be extremely disappointed if my card is debited. Maybe there was some family crisis? But that the phone number was not recognised is a worry! I can't comment on...
