"We were two families, 8 people in total. Location is outstanding. Villa is beautiful. The views are breathtaking. The little bay is gorgeous. Great for snorkelling and swimming. I recommend the kayaking tour round the caves. Beach is very busy in summer months but they restrict access once it gets full. Lovely beach bars and restaurants. More restaurants a 15 min drive away which are better for evenings. But the villa is stunning at nighttime so lovely to do BBQs. Rooms are spacious and all have their own bathrooms. Great for teenagers. Only areas to mention are the photos look as if you can walk down a path to the beach. That path is no longer accessible so you have a slightly longer walk round. This holiday is not suitable for people with access concerns or young children due to lots of steps and edges. Also, the pool does not have much shade and there are no umbrellas. But there are lots of shady places to sit and read around the villa and the air con is very handy in July! Christine was amazing and recommended some good restaurants which we tried and enjoyed. I definitely recommend this villa. You need a car - lots of steep hilly roads."

"We stayed for a week at the end of June, at this beautifully located beachfront hotel. The view of the bay is stunning as all of the rooms overlook the beach and indeed the hotel’s beautiful gardens. If you are looking for a full-on, adrenaline pumped, pool- gamed hotel … this is not the hotel for you. Here you find a sophisticated, relaxed, refined vibe that suites couples and travellers wanting a quieter place to stay. Our room was large, clean, comfortable with a large bathroom and terrace overlooking the gardens and beach. What more could you want! Cleaned daily by friendly staff. The restaurant served a typically Spanish breakfast in a relaxed style. Good food every day - it helped if you had a smattering of Spanish to order the hot options as sometimes you didn’t always get what you were expecting! The pool is plenty big enough and secluded. No high octane music but ‘borrows’ music from the nearby beach bars. Always plenty of loungers and you can borrow the hotel towels, so no need to pack your own. Wonderfully warm water too. The only thing it lacks is a pool bar - you have to travel up to the hotel to get a drink. Maybe this is different in high season? The staff were always helpful. I would definitely recommend the hotel and we are considering Parador hotels for our next stay too."

"Fantastic views! Big, wonderful pool. Excellent for relaxation in quiet, beautiful surroundings. Two amazing seating areas with views of the ocean - one in the sun and one in the shade. The internet was slow and the kitchen small but with everything you need. The view is smashing. Swimming and looking out at the ocean is priceless."

"We're just back from a glorious week at this fabulous villa. It was pretty hot all over Europe with record temperatures even in the UK, so we didn't venture very far from the fab swimming pool. The kitchen facilities were good with all the equipment you need. Masymas supermarket was a short drive away so it was easy to get stocked up. There are steps up to the house so maybe not ideal if you've mobility issues. the host was very responsive and helpful."

"Excellent location for anyone visiting Javea, especially the old town, with loads of character. Good communication from the owner. It is in the centre of the town next to the market so you have to expect some noise, but there was nothing intrusive. Parking is either in the nearby underground car-park or local streets, but there is parking outside the hotel for drop-off or pick-up. I would stay there again."

"We had great communication with the host from start to finish, which made the booking process easy and pleasant. The apartment itself was very nice and actually looked even better in person than in the photos. The only downside was the service during the host’s absence — without going into details, this is the one area that cost them a star. That said, we still had a wonderful time and didn’t let this affect our overall enjoyment of the stay."
