"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property from Dec.18-23. The host greeted us as we had travelled from Virginia and arrived later than check in time, she reassured us that if we needed anything, to ask. The house was very spacious, clean and decorated nicely for the holidays and the view of the lake from the house was amazing.Definitely would recommend staying here!!!Thank you "

"Everything was clean and in working order. Kitchen had plenty of tableware and utensils for cooking, with amenities like storage bags and wraps. Bedding and towels were high quality. Furniture was comfortable and nothing was worn out. With plenty of books and games, it felt more like a home than a rental. Lake views from the picture window were relaxing and engaging. Christmas decorations were a nice touch for the holiday. Caring and attentive hosts kept the porch and driveway cleared of snow quickly and efficiently. While they live next door, they respect guest privacy and did not at all detract from the experience. Highly recommend this property."

"I loved the location of the property. Very private and secluded, even with the other cabin next door. That said, before I checked in, I was notified the primary heat source (pellet stove) was inoperable, and that there was a secondary heat source available. Upon arrival, the cabin was about 40 degrees inside, and the wall mounted propane heater simply could not keep up as the overnight temperatures reached single digits. The cabin was appointed with very warm blankets which helped a lot, but it was still a very, very chilly night. Thankfully the stove was repaired the next day and worked without issue the remainder of my stay. I would also caution you to check your junk emails before arriving. My check in instructions wound up in my junk mail, and there's nothing listed on Vrbo in regard to checking in or out, it's only in the emails, so bear this in mind. All in all, this was a great place and I enjoyed my time here aside from the first night. I will likely stay here again in the future. "

"Clean room. Great staff. This is the third time I’ve stayed here for a powerlifting competition in the area. It’s super close and the perfect spot for it! Great breakfast and the front desk staff are very friendly. "
