Hilary was very responsive and anticipated all needs. The house is very spacious with large areas for your group to congregate together or the ability to retreat off into solitude if you chose to. The lower level was great for watching the football game while playing a game of pool and it was in close proximity to Whiteface mountain. Would definitely stay here again.

Exploring the Adirondack's

We had a great time!! We went to Ausable Chasm and drove to the top of whiteface mt absolutely amazing!! We had fires at night and there was plenty of room for all of us. We stayed 3 nights.

Great house for a large group

We went with our family and another family. So much room for everyone. The kids loved the basement. Parents loved the kitchen. Great location for exploring the area mountains and lake Placid. Hilary was so helpful and responded quickly. We all had a great trip, parents, kids and pup.

The hosts are very responsive and helpful.

This is a spacious home near Jay's covered bridge on Route 9N. It is not luxurious, but it was pleasant and fun to be there. It was easy to get in and out of the home and driveway. There were nice features-- great washer and dryer, as well as a dishwasher. There is not a kitchen table, but there is a large and pleasant dining room table in the dining room, and it can handle about 8 people easily. The towels were nice, and the beds, comfortable. There is a pool table in the basement, which is nice, and a piano upstairs that works, one in the basement that needs repair. So, if you would like a pleasant, spacious place from which you can get to Lake Placid in a half hour and also to Mt Van Hoevenberg and other places, this place works well.

We stayed here for the Lake Placid Ironman triathlon. It was the perfect location for it. We were only .6 miles from part of the bike course making it easy to walk down the street and watch the biking before driving down to the finish area which was only about a 20 minute ride. Location was perfect and the place was very clean. The host was quick to respond with questions and very helpful and nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Hiking Base Camp...

Overall the house was good. It was a good amount of space and the kitchen allowed for all of us (8) to be in there at the same time. It was a good close proximity to a lot of great hikes. We had a lot of fun at the house and on the hikes.
