"This home was a beautiful historical home nestled in the heart of downtown Jefferson. There are plenty of bedrooms for family and friends. The grounds were beautiful and having a golf cart to zip around town was a bonus. My favorite part was the large front porch with swing to sit, drink some ice tea and watch those passing by the home. I thoroughly enjoyed reading the history of the town and the home. I do wish there were more shower options-- there is only one downstairs and one upstairs so you have to get creative and share that space. However there are several half baths. "

We had a blast fishing and just relaxing on our vacation and would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing trip. It was extremely nice to have two canoes on the property to use as well. The hosts did a great job of having dishes, seasonings, condiments and other things available for their guests, which was much appreciated. Great trip overall!"
