5 Women over 50 - AWESOME WEEKEND!!

This home is a wonderful and beautiful place to hang out and relax. Had everything we needed and then some. Would love to come back again next Spring. Jefferson was a fun shopping experience w/really nice people. What a time we had!! Thank you!!

Escape the rat race

Once you get to the property it is very serene. The property was 100% as represented. The kitchen has everything you would ever need to cook with. I really liked that you could always find a shady spot on 1 of the 3 decks/dock available. The highlight of the trip for us were seeing a red headed woodpecker, Anhinga aka water turkey and so many bright yellow warblers that would come right up on the deck next to you. This is a property we would definitely stay at again.

Great stay if you are looking for a remote quiet trip

Perfect location for a quiet getaway. Loved the scenery of the bayou and surrounding areas. Wanted to take a quick camping trip to the woods to get away from the day to day stresses. Caddo Lake and the Jefferson area was exactly what we was looking for. Checked off all the boxes!!!

Fish galore

Had a great time at this house for spring break. Everyone caught fish from perch, bass, crappie, and catfish. Son had such a great time that he’s already wanting to go back. House had many amenities.

A Fantastic Place to Stay

This is a fantastic place to stay, even if you don't fish or kayak. The cabin is lovely and very accommodating. Our favorite thing to do was to relax on the deck and watch the wildlife. It was so peaceful and serene. The location was great: in the woods, on the bayou, and between Jefferson and Caddo Lake. We absolutely loved it!

Peaceful stay on the bayou

We had a fun getaway in East Texas and loved using the docks for fishing, the kayaks, and the fire pits with a healthy supply of wood!! Inside was beautiful, couch comfy, kitchen well-equipped, bathrooms spacious (and loved the electric fireplaces on the wall in there), and king sized beds! We really liked the Captain Ron Swamp Tour in nearby Caddo Lake.

Secluded Rustic Elegance

If you’re looking for secluded, quiet, out of the way comfort, this is it. At the same time, close to everything Jefferson. Lovely, clean interior. Beautiful on the water location.

Perfect property

Their place is perfectly located. Well appointed and very comfortable. Super quiet and secluded. Wonderful neighbor too. The only one there is. We were close to Jefferson and Caddo. Love the drive up to the cabin. Definitely a great place to stay.

Cabin in the woods

The house and location between Caddo Lake and Jefferson was just perfect for our family getaway. The owners thought of so many conveniences to make the place feel like home as soon as you arrive. It’s hard to pick a favorite part between the multiple decks, kayaks, fire ring, comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. We loved every part!

Wonderful Secluded Gem

This place is off the beaten path and really unique. This place can comfortably sleep 8 people and has plenty of outside deck area. Although we aren't fishers... This is a great place for people who fish. The grandkids loved the loft room and unique steps up to that room. The place was clean and had plenty of linens and beach towels. We had a great time.

FAMILY TRIP

The cabin was extremely nice. It was decorated beautifully and the owners were really easy to communicate with. All of the guys loved fishing off the deck. This is a good meeting place for us and my son that lives in Houston. I am sure we will be back.

Cabin on Cypress Bayou

Everything was so nice and clean . So relaxing sitting on the deck watching the grandchildren swim and fish . Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed using the gas grill . Owner was easy to contact and was fast to respond. Hope to return again .

Beautiful and peaceful!

This was our second stay at this amazing property. It was just as amazing as the first time. So much to do at the house, the owners thought of everything! On my first review I joked the only thing missing was a big tea pitcher. I had to laugh this time when I saw a huge tea pitcher! It is truly a lovely magical place!
