Tranquility at Turkey Trail Lodge

Welcome to Turkey Trail Lodge!

From the moment you walk in the door, you'll feel the peaceful tranquility of the Jemez. Come to escape the city hustle and decompress. You are surrounded by opportunities to explore - hiking, fishing, hot springs - or just sit by the fire and take it all in.

This rustic cozy cabin is located approximately 10 minutes from La Cueva Picnic Grounds, 20 minutes from Jemez Springs Village, 25 minutes to Valles Caldera, 30 minutes to Fenton Lake, 40 minute drive to San Antonio Hot Springs, and 50 minutes to Pajarito Ski Area and Los Alamos.

It is well furnished with 1 private bedroom and 1 loft with ample beds and sleeping space for up to 6 adults and additional beds for up to 4 kids. There is one full bathroom, a kitchen, TV, WiFi, washer/dryer, and a smart TV with streaming options as well as DVDs. If you prefer to disconnect - there are books and games to pass the time.

Enjoy your mountain surroundings with a cup of coffee on the deck or roast s'mores by the fire pit.

We now also have a hot tub on the deck to soak your worries away!

We loved getting away from it all at this cabin. It was very relaxing and a perfect location for exploring Valles Caldera. The dart board and hot tub were big hits with our group.

The property is conveniently located near numerous trails. The kitchen is well stocked for meal preparation and the hot tub is awesome after a long day hiking. The cabin easily accommodated 3 adults for a long summer weekend. The cabin is located in a quiet area a few miles from the highway. If you are seeking solitude in a beautiful mountain setting then this is a great option.

Beautiful location

The house was super clean and had everything for a wonderful weekend away. They have a ton of movies and games for kids all ages. This has to be one of the best locations we have stayed at using VRBO.

Great location

Location was great to get away for a quick family vacation. Even with 4 wheel drive the road up was very hard to navigate. The cabin was not very clean and the hot tub did not get or stay hot. Host was very responsive and was able to adjust the dates at the last minute.

Very clean, hot tub worked after we contacted property management. Beautiful location, nice property. Only problem, “sleeps 10” if 5 of them are children and 7 people can sleep in 1 small loft, 5 on a bunk bed.

Great cabin in the Jemez

Cabin was clean and everything was good and comfortable. Jemez and the Valles Caldera are fantastic. The parking is tuff and access was bad due to snow and slick road. You need a 4X4 in the winter / anytime.??? The snow and hot tub were awesome, but the snow cause the electricity to be out on the last morning of our stay. Enjoyed our stay !

This property was a perfect getaway for our family! The two teens loved having the loft space. The outdoor space was quiet, serene, and peaceful. Everything was clean! The hot tub was wonderful after a long day-hike along the East Fork! Would love more puzzles or games, but the movie selection was wow-der-ful! Thank you so much!

Turkey Lodge

Turkey Lodge is a beautiful home. So peaceful and beautiful, high in the mountains (8,700 feet more or less). Wild life and birds were fun to watch. My husband and I and my daughter's family of four had so much fun. And even though we worried it wouldn't work for the six of us, it was enough space with all the decks and outdoor living areas. Kaycee, the manager, was very responsive.

Awesome property

The location is amazing, house was clean, outside was great, really loved the fire pit. Everything we needed was there! Maybe get satellite tv channels to keep the kids busy.

Cozy mountain getaway

The cabin was super cozy and tucked away in the woods. It was packed with amenities that made our stay a real joy. There was lots to do despite many of the areas around us being closed do to fire danger. Great host!
